Julie Irwin has a comprehensive knowledge of ICT infrastructure management across a broad range of industries as well as a strong governance background in ICT company management. Julie's ability to develop practical business strategies with implementation and transition plans, brings about change and growth in businesses.

Julie was the founder of A-DB Group and AcknowledgeDB. Until October, 2008, she was Executive Chairman of the group. Julie developed A-DB Group over a period of 11 years creating an IT services organisation with a national presence, growing both organically and by acquisition. The key strategic decision to acquire Igatech in 2006 was driven by Igatech's integration into the defence sector in South Australia.

In 2008, Julie negotiated the sale of A-DB Group to ASG Group, exiting at the time of the sale.

As the founder of an ICT services company, Julie brought extensive technical experience to A-DB Group. She developed a high level of skill and focus in finance, human resource management and compliance and legal management of an SME as she grew the business.  She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a bachelor degree in applied science with majors in computing, accounting and business studies from UniSA. She has been an active member of Australian Computer Society since 1983 and was recognized in 2008 for 25 years membership.
